Straight answers
Before an AI answers for your business, you should know how it works.
These answers describe the current product direction and public-site behavior without inventing integrations, compliance, pricing details, customer proof, or launch readiness.
Product basics
What the front desk does—and what it does not.
What does the 4voip AI front desk do?
It handles covered inbound calls using your business knowledge and rules. Depending on the connected capabilities, it can answer routine questions, qualify callers, collect intake, schedule an appropriate appointment, route a call, or record a clear next step.
Do I need to write prompts or build call-flow diagrams?
No. The intended builder interviews you in plain English, turns what it learns into the receptionist, and lets you request changes conversationally. You still need to review and test the result before relying on it with customers.
Can it schedule appointments on my calendar?
Appointment scheduling is being built for connected calendars. Availability, appointment types, service areas, durations, time zones, and cancellation rules must be configured and tested before calendar writes are activated.
Can it filter spam and unqualified leads?
You can define questions and business-fit rules that help distinguish prospective customers from vendors, solicitations, obvious noise, and requests outside your service area or scope. Qualification reflects your rules and cannot guarantee lead quality.
Is 4voip only for after-hours calls?
No. The primary vision is an AI front desk for covered inbound calls throughout the day. After-hours and overflow handling are individual use cases, not the whole product.
Can I hear the receptionist before going live?
Yes. Testing by phone is central to the product experience. The public demo number will be shown only after that telephone configuration is connected and verified.
Building and improving
Teach the agent in plain English.
How does 4voip learn about my business?
The conversational builder asks about services, customers, common calls, qualification, scheduling, routing, boundaries, and exceptions. You can continue teaching it as the business changes.
Can I change the agent after it is built?
Yes. The product is designed so you can describe a change in plain English, review the updated behavior, and call the receptionist again before publishing the change.
Does the AI replace every front-desk conversation?
No. Routine, structured conversations are the best fit. Sensitive, urgent, regulated, ambiguous, or judgment-heavy calls need a clearly tested human or emergency path.
Does 4voip make outbound calls?
Outbound calling and lead follow-up are planned capabilities and are labeled coming soon. They should not be represented as active until the complete workflow is connected and verified.
Pricing
What is known before activation.
How much does 4voip cost?
Pricing currently starts at $49 per month as a launch pricing test. The exact price is shown before activation.
How many minutes are included?
Included minutes, usage limits, and overage pricing have not been published because those unit economics are not yet approved.
Are there multiple plans?
No additional public plan tiers are being claimed. Capabilities and the exact price must be presented clearly before a customer activates service.
Will building or testing the receptionist activate billing?
The public website does not activate paid service. Final billing terms must be shown and accepted before a paid account begins.
Trust and safety
Verify the call, the limits, and the proof.
Does 4voip claim HIPAA or other compliance certifications?
No unsupported certification or regulated-data claim is made. Any regulated use requires verified safeguards, documented responsibilities, and appropriate agreements before activation.
Is 4voip an emergency service?
No. 4voip is not 911, emergency dispatch, or a substitute for medical, legal, safety, or other professional judgment.
How can I verify what callers will experience?
Call the configured receptionist, test normal and difficult scenarios, review the information it uses, and verify every booking, transfer, fallback, and human handoff before going live.
Are the reviews and customer stories on the site real?
4voip will publish customer proof only when it comes from a real customer, accurately reflects their experience, and is used with permission. No placeholder ratings or fabricated testimonials are published.
Local pages
Why city content must earn publication.
Does 4voip have offices in every listed city?
No. A city guide does not imply a physical 4voip office or local business location.
How does a city page become publishable?
It must contain sourced local facts, operational context, relevant authorities, unique FAQs and call scenarios, complete metadata, and documented verification. Draft research is excluded from indexing and the sitemap.
Why are only some city and industry pages available?
4voip does not mass-publish pages by replacing city names. A city-industry combination is published only when the local research materially changes the call, qualification, scheduling, or safety context.
