Clinics and medical offices

An AI assistant for medical calls.

The front desk is with a patient. Ava can take the message. She cannot be the clinician.

No prompt engineering. No implementation queue. Just a conversation that becomes your receptionist.

The call

After-hours callers often hear a dead-end recording, and the staff cannot leave the person in front of them.

Ava asks who is calling, whether they are an existing patient, and what they need in their own words. She saves it for your team. She does not triage symptoms, give medical advice, refill medication, or claim to be HIPAA compliant. A caller describing an emergency is told to call 911.

What Ava asks

Industry-specific questions. The same limit: she saves the lead for your team.

Appointment requests

The requested visit is saved for your team to confirm. The slot is not booked on the call.

Prescription and refill messages

Refill requests are messages. Ava does not approve or send medication.

After-hours symptom calls

Symptom details are stored as the caller's words, not as a diagnosis.

New-patient questions

New patients get the questions you approved, then a callback.

Saved for your team

Your services. Your questions. Your callback.

Appointment booking is coming soon. Ava does not book during the call, and she does not transfer the live call.

  • Caller and callback number
  • Existing patient or not
  • What they need, in their words
  • Any emergency wording, so your team sees it

Clear limits

4voip does not provide medical advice, diagnose, or claim HIPAA or other compliance certifications. Ava is not an emergency service. Regulated information needs your own safeguards before you rely on any tool.

Medical offices require verified privacy and data-handling safeguards before handling regulated information. This page does not say those safeguards are in place.
